Matt Horsely

Matt is the Director of Finance and Accounting at Front Light Building Company with over 20 years of experience in residential home construction.

After obtaining his BS in Accounting from Miami University, Matt served four years as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Matt began his accounting career as a CPA for a local accounting firm based in Alexandria, Virginia.

He started his career in residential homebuilding when he joined national homebuilder NVR, Inc.  During his 22 years at NVR, Matt held various leadership roles in finance and accounting including Internal Audit Manager, Accounting Manager, Director of Mortgage Accounting and Assistant Controller.  He has a proven track record in implementing financial measures to drive performance and process improvement.
