Once you’ve chosen your lot, home plan, and any structural enhancements, you’ll sign the sales agreement and take the first step toward building your dream home.

You’ll receive a personalized link to view your home in 3D and explore our design library. Next, we’ll schedule a visit to our Design Center, where you can experience products firsthand and finalize your selections. Before construction begins, you’ll meet with your project manager for a pre-construction review.

As we begin construction—often called the “vertical stage”—our focus will be on laying the foundation, framing, and roofing. You’ll also have the opportunity to join us for the MEP Walk, your first on-site visit with the construction crew.

Your vision comes to life as your home takes shape, from drywall installation to exterior landscaping. During this phase, you’ll conduct a Punch Walk to review any final details and ensure every element is just right.

The day has arrived! At the final walk through, you’ll see the culmination of hard work and planning. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer a 30-day and 11-month warranty, giving you peace of mind as you settle into your new home.

STANDARD FEATURES IN EVERY LANTHORNE HOME

Ceiling Heights: Enjoy 10-foot ceilings on the first floor and 9-foot ceilings on the second, offering an open and spacious feel.

Grand Entry: A welcoming 8-foot front door with a gas light above, a feature you’d typically pay extra for elsewhere.

Porches: Both the front and screened back porches come with board and batten ceilings, and a minimum depth of 8 feet for comfortable outdoor living—another standard feature that many builders charge as an upgrade.

Master Bath: A 60” tub with a knee wall and glass panel above the shower for a modern, luxurious touch.

Flooring: Durable tile in all wet areas, with engineered hardwood flooring included in the main living areas and the primary bedroom.

Two-Car Garage: Ample parking and storage space.

Drop Zone: Built-in drop zone with cubbies, vertical shiplap, and hooks for added organization, another feature typically not included by other builders.

Design Accents: Each home includes one elegant arch and a custom accent wall (board and batten, horizontal, or vertical shiplap)

—features that usually come at an additional cost.

Fireplace: A ventless fireplace, adding warmth and style, without the need for costly upgrades.

Porch Finishes: Rock salt finish concrete on all porches, Trex porch steps, and a concrete pad beneath for lasting durability—features often considered premium upgrades.

Exterior: A choice of tabby or stucco exterior foundation with cementous siding (7” reveal and/or board and batten), all included in the base price.

At Lanthorne Homes, these features come standard, giving you a home with high-end finishes without the extra costs you might face with other builders.
